With spring comes the urge to try new things, and here at the bakery, that means new recipes!
For Passover, we offered unleavened bread for the first time: a whole grain flat bread sweetened with honey and softened with olive oil. Since Passover coincided with St. Patrick's Day this year, AND it was the third Sunday of the month, we also had challah--some in the shape of four leaf clovers!
This week, we are back to basic Daily Bread. But don't worry--we have special breads planned for Easter next week!
Folks keep sending me this link to cute little bunny rolls:

So, we'll make a batch of them!
Since many people enjoy ham on Easter, we'll also offer a surprise savory loaf guaranteed to pair well with ham.
Hope to see you soon!
Indianapolis' newest local bakery. We craft artisan loaves of bread. Each loaf is mixed and formed by hand. Subscriptions available!
